Payment

All pricing is in USD via Paypal. Please select the ‘services’ option and 'no shipping required’ when paying. Must be paid within 48 hours before I start the commission. Or alternatively can pay through my ko-fi. I do not accept other forms of payment such as snailmail, echecks, Venmo, Snipe, etc. I do not accept cryptocurrencies. Payment plans can be requested ahead of time before placing an order of orders totaling $150 or more. I require at least 30% of the payment up front as a non-refundable deposit. Completed commissions will not be delivered until payment plan has been fully paid.

Turnaround Time

Please allow up to 3 months without the option for full refund. I am a disabled artist with wrist issues and this can at times make me unable to produce content. Please have patience and keep this in mind if you are wanting a commission. I will try to keep you updated the best I can in case there is a delay. If there is a certain date you want the art by please tell me before ordering as this will require a +30% of the base price fee for the rush order. Otherwise art will be completed within my schedule.

Queue

I do not work on a "first come first serve" basis. Smaller commissions/ commissions that do not take much time may be worked on before or in between larger commissions/ commissions requiring more time. Feel free to contact with me any concerns or updates. Also, check out my public queue on Trello to see where you are.

Refunds

I will do refunds if discussed ahead of time (do not chargeback!) after the three month period has passed and it must be within reason. Failing to meet your own financial obligations is not a legitimate cause for a refund.
Refund Amounts Refund amount will be based on how much of the work has been completed. (65% refunded in the lineart stage, 50% refunded in the flat color stage, and 30%-20% in the shading/final touches stage). A full refund will be issued if I have not started or if I cancel the commission.

Cancelled Art

Client will not receive any files of the commission when cancelled and the work may be altered and resold by me as a YCH. If artwork has been fully completed the contract is considered closed and no refund will be issued.

Art Rating

All art is rated pg-pg13. I do not do NSFW/porn/fetish art so please do not request it. If you can't hang it on your mom's fridge I will not draw it.

Editing

I can make small edits to the art if I missed a detail or made a mistake on completed art but cannot make large edits or redraws once past the sketch stage. A complete redraw after approval of a completed piece is considered a new transaction.

Clear References

I require all information about the commission up front when ordered. This includes any reference material, descriptions, and ideas. Any information sent after the approval of the commission will be declined. Please have an idea of what you want when requesting a commission!

Style

I draw in a variety of cartoon styles in addition to my own personal style. Please specify which you prefer. In the case of canon characters from animated media, please specify if you want them drawn on model or in my personal style. I do not do anime styles however.

Right of Refusal

I have the right to refuse a commission at any time or if I feel uncomfortable with the content or character.

Rights

All artwork is for personal use only by the commissioner. Commissioning private commissions does not include full rights to the copyright of the artwork and the copyright of the artwork remains with the artist. You may edit and use them as avatars, in sigs, and other non-business personal use as long as the artist's signature remains visible on the art. However, artwork may not be altered to change or adjust the piece or to create derivatives without permission. Artwork may not be altered, changed, adjusted, or create derivatives from using machine learning (AI) or derivative technologies. You may make a personal print of the art. Private commissions are not be used for commercial purposes such as the production of products (mass prints, t-shirts, etc.) and blockchain related technology including NFTs (non-fungible tokens), cryptocurrencies, or in similar future inventions. Art is to not be used for teaching AI. I retain the right to display the artwork in my gallery for self-promotion unless the commissioner requests for the commission to be private.
Credits I require credit if is art posted to your gallery or social media or toyhou.se. Custom characters have no rules except for don't resell for more than you paid for unless it comes with extra added art and not for commercial use.

Blacklisting

Failure to follow my TOS or charging back without contacting me before hand or requesting subjects on my will not draw list or being unpleasant to work with will result you in being publicly blacklisted and blocked from future commissions. You may not have third parties commission art for you

Can I request one of your characters to be drawn with mine?

Yes you may and you will get a 50% discount on the additional character if it is one of my own. However, I will not draw my characters in a relationship with yours unless we are friends.

Can I request a private commission?

Private commissions must be requested at the time of ordering. Otherwise, the commission will be assumed public and will be displayed by me in my gallery for for self-promotion.

Do you do commercial work?

I am currently unavailable for commercial work at this time. If I am open for them I will post when I'm available. Commercial work requires a signed contract. I do not do commercial work for NFTs.

Can I alter or edit my commission?

You may alter or edit your commission for use in avatars, in sigs, and other non-business personal use as long as my signature remains visible on the art. However, you are not allowed to to completely change the piece or create derivatives as a new piece either by doing the edits by hand or through AI. (Ex. Taking a colored sketch and feeding it into an AI to create a more rendered piece.)

Can I order a commission as a gift for someone?

Yes, you may but please discuss this with me ahead of time so I can keep the art as a surprise and depending on the time frame it may require a rush fee.

Do you do art trades?

Yes, if my trades are open. I will post if I am open for art trades on my social media or Discord.

Do you do art collabs?

Yes, as long as our styles mesh and I am open for collabing.

Do you do YCH (Your Character Here) commissions?

Occasionally I do YCH commissions. YCH commissions will posted for sale on my social media or Discord.

Your art is too expensive! Can I get a discount?

No.

CUSTOM ICONS

A custom icon of your character. Headies are a simple flatcolored headshot with a transparent background. Bust icons come with a round background. Portrait icons are mini portraits that come with a background.Icons come with a 150x150 and 400x400 versions. Icons are single character only!

COLORED SKETCHES

Colored sketches that have no backgrounds or a simple background. Base pricing is for a single character. Additional characters or extra sketches of the same character to the same sketch can be added for the following extra pricing.

FLATCOLOR LARGE ART

Simple flatcolor art. Can be with a transparent background or a background. Base pricing is for a single character. Additional characters can be added to the same piece for the following extra pricing.

ILLUSTRATION ART

Illustrations are fully shaded art with a simple or complex background.
Screenshot style illustrations are made to look like a fake screenshot. Can be a headshot/shoulders up or fullbody with or without shading. Dialogue can be included.
Tall Halfbody illustrations are fully shaded and comes with a simple or complex background.
Base pricing is for a single character. Additional characters can be added except to tall halfbodies which is single character only.

FERAL CHARACTER REFERENCE SHEET

Custom reference sheet for an already existing character. Basic refs come with two fullbodies, one headshot, color palette, character info, and one accessory image. Custom background is included. For a more complex ref see extra pricing options below. No NSFW refs!

ANTHRO/HUMANOID REFERENCE SHEET

Basic refs come with two fullbodies, one headshot, color palette, character info, and one accessory/clothing image. Custom background is included. For a more complex ref see extra pricing options below. No NSFW refs! Anthro/humanoid characters will be "Barbie/Ken nude" if not clothed.

CUSTOM CHARACTER DESIGNS

I design you a custom character based on a description provided of any species! I can also design characters intended to be the offspring or fusion of two parents/characters provided by you.All custom designs come with a basic reference sheet. For a more complex ref, seeing pricing extras for reference sheets.You will receive a design concept before character is finalized. You can provide a color palette, moodboard, and any material needed for me to use to help with your design.
